I appreciates that you chose me for your massage and bodywork session. It is my absolute intention to provide top notch and personal care. In order to do that, the hour that you scheduled is time set aside for only you. I'd like to communicate some guidelines and policies in order to provide you an optimum session.
Please arrive ten minutes, or at least five minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment. This allows time to get to know your specific needs and to learn of any health issues. Giving yourself a little bit of extra time also allows your body and mind to start to transition from an active busy mode, into a more relaxing receiving mode, thereby enhancing your massage experience. From the business and therapists’ side, it gives me the full time to actually have my hands on your muscle tissues, keeps my business on schedule, and respects the next client’s scheduled therapy time.
I understand that issues occur. It helps me a great deal if you call and let me know if you are running late. I will do my best to accommodate you.
I generally can work within a 5 minute delay, however, if time runs 10-15 minutes or more, I will likely have to shorten your session by that amount of time. Full price will be charged for the actual scheduled time. In return, I will make sure I am on time, and if for some reason I am not, I will give you the time back or adjust the price of the session.
Cancellation Policy
I ask that you respectively give 24hrs notice for cancellations. Cancelling of an appointment in less than the 24hrs I will have to charge a 1/2 price for the first missed session and full price for any others after that. Recognizing that I do set aside the scheduled time just for you, have other clients to consider and have to maintain a smoothly running business, I do find it necessary to charge for appointments that are repetitively changed on the day of the scheduled appointment. This fee is $40.00. People who have cancelled on me at the last minute or have failed to show up for a scheduled appointment will be asked to guarantee future appointments with a credit card. Refusal to provide me with the credit card information with result in termination of our relationship.
I do understand emergencies and illnesses do occur. If you have a fever, have been in the hospital, have been vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or it begins a couple of hours prior to your scheduled session, or your children are ill and need you at home, please cancel. Equally, if there is an ice storm, please do not drive or walk on the ice if you do not have to. Feel free to call and reschedule your appointment. There will be no charge for these types of cancellations.
After you choose a date & time, you will create an account with your details and complete the booking.
Your email address and password will then allow you to review, change and add appointments.
